Hi, I'm Camelia! I am the photographer behind Camelia Gomes Photography (of course), based out of India.

Here's a little about me, since you asked...
When I got my first camera, I was enchanted by the magnificence the world brings to the table. I captured everything under the sun: large scale photographs of blooms and blossoms, the shoreline close to my home, products and portraits. I need to admit, however: I would in general catch nature-related scenes, staying away from anything to do with individuals.
Before I got a camera, I was modest and shy. As I was shooting my way through the procedure and collecting affection for this particular art, I began taking self pictures. I shot myself; since I was the only one I could open up to and talk with.
Over the course of the next three to four months, I gradually started becoming more comfortable with photography. After months of just photographing myself, products, landscapes and blossoms, I gained enough confidence to start photographing portraits of other people.
Photography and design often go hand-in-hand. Being a creative person, I also had a great interest in design and art. So I had taken up few online courses in graphic design. Custom photography within design plays a huge role in the success of a project and how well it appeals to the audience. And ultimately, design skills within photography allow the imagination to run more freely, often producing more original and stylized work. My style of photography is more candid instead of posed because let's be honest, life isn't perfect! It's unpredictable, it's fun and it's a little wild at times. I even found my interest in film-making as I'm a big time film enthusiast and therefore have started to focus on the same to learn more deeply about it.
Basically I’m a natural light photographer aspiring to emerge as a successful filmmaker soon!
